Call for Submissions
Wordwhipper Press is creating its second anthology. The deadline to submit is March 1, 2026.
The theme is fasting. This could be whatever you wish it to be. This could be religious, spiritual, physical, dietary, or anything you may interpret, comes through your eyes, or speaks to your creative self.
Guidelines
- Submitting is free. Submit up to 3 pieces.
- Our response target is 90 days.
- All works must be related to the theme of fasting. Be creative. However, if the theme is not apparent to us, the work will be excluded.
- Poems or prose poems are not to exceed 50 lines. They should be single-spaced, in 12 point Calibri, with one-inch margins.
- Flash Creative Non-Fiction or Flash Fiction pieces should be 500 words maximum. They should be at 1.5 spacing, in 12-point Calibri, with one-inch margins.
- All works should be original, generated without the assistance of AI, and should not have been previously published.
- Simultaneous submissions are permitted, but please let us know ASAP if your work is accepted somewhere else.
- Should you need to deviate from the above, or have particular requirements regarding punctuation and capitalization, explain your reasoning in the body of your email.
